Description
The chawan is a ceramic matcha bowl, designed for smooth preparation and a relaxed tasting experience. Its deeper shape facilitates whisking with a chasen and enhances a fine, even foam.

Usage tips
Pour in the hot (not boiling) water, add the matcha, then whisk in a “W” motion. The bowl allows for a wide and quick movement, without splashing.
Interview
Rinse with clean water, dry gently. Avoid thermal shock (boiling water + cold bowl) to preserve the ceramic.
